2013 Opposites Attract COLOR color forecast represents a magnetic pull on the color spectrum This room was painted with Emerald Interior Latex in Independent Gold (SW 6401), part of the colormix 2013 Vintage Moxie collection. D ynamic, contrasting color moods are the paint color trend for 2013, says Jackie Jordan, director of color marketing at Sherwin-Williams. The company's colormix 2013 collec- tion embraces the dueling influences competing for atten- tion in today's hyperkinetic, vividly saturated world. "We know that people gravitate to personal preferences, but we are being shaped by the divergent energies pulsing all around us," Jordan says. "Keeping these influences in mind, colormix 2013 embraces these conflicts and shows how colors are about a process of combination, and creating unexpected harmony." The 40 colors selected by Sherwin-Williams color experts for col- ormix 2013 are grouped into four palettes: Midnight Mystery, Honed Vitality, Vintage Moxie and High-Voltage. PPC Fall 2012 15
