COMMERCIAL PERFECTION In Search of Jonquil (SW 6674) is the wall color at this new Chicago area Trader Joe's. W hen he won the bid for the new Trader Joe's grocery store in Chicago's upscale Lake- view neighborhood, Eric Gosselin wanted to make sure the high-profile commercial job was perfect. "One of the biggest challenges in the beginning was trying to spray and backroll my primer and first coat with all the other contractors there," says Gosselin, owner of All Angles Painting, based in Homewood, Ill. "I worked late a few nights so I could be alone at the jobsite. There were long, well-lit walls so I hand cut and rolled all my second coats so I could take the time to make it all perfect." The parking area was the next challenge. "There was a large amount of smooth concrete walls in the parking garage portion of the job," he says.
